MIKE HOPPER (CASSIDY) - Michael studied piano from the age of 8 years in with the Trinity College of Music up until the age of 13 when he decided he would like to study trumpet. He attended a boarding College in Auckland, New Zealand to achieve this.
Michael has always had an interest in music, especially jazz. At the age of 12 he received his first trumpet as a birthday present from his parents and he has continued to play and enjoy jazz since that early introduction.
For several years Michael played trumpet with local jazz bands, keyboards and bass for other covers bands, while enjoying entertaining others he also had other ideas.
